We are a group of neighbours to a (now finished) building project on Nødebovejen 140 in Hundested, a seaside city on the north coast of the Danish island Zealand. In our opinion the project is destroying the character of the area and is a great nuisance - not only for us, but for a lot of other property owners and visitors, including guests at the nearby public beach. The renovated and greatly enlarged 'summer cottage' is aggressively dominant. Furthermore we think that the local council of Hundested has issued a faulty and illegal building permit - and that the project is in violation of the sea protection zone. The regional council has by and large agreed, but at the same time decided that the building owner has acted in good faith. The neighbours (and the local area) have lost their lawsuit.
